NATIONAL MARINE PARK of FERNANDO DE NORONHA - RULES AND REGULATION:
The remaining area of 30% of the archipelago that goes from the harbor to Cacimba do Padre does not belong to the Marine Park but it falls into APA category which is Area of Environmental Preservation so it is safe to follow the rules, no matter where you are, when visiting the main island...
Activities not allowed:
* Fishing
* Bringing in animals or plants
* Killing, chasing or feeding animals
* Interfering with vegetation, collecting seeds, roots or fruits
* Collecting shells, corals, stones, animals, or even parts of organisms
* Visiting areas of the National Marine Park (PARNAMAR - FN) from 06h00pm to 08h00am
* Swim, snorkel, stop a boat, or dive close to Baia dos Golfinhos (Dolphins Bay)
* Leave waste on beaches or trails
* To visit any other island or islets of the archipelago
* Camping, sleeping in the open or making fire
* Visiting restricted areas without previous IBAMA's authorization
* To anchor boats in any PARNAMAR - FN area except for Sancho sandbanks, or anchorage of Sueste Bay.
* Writing or spraying on rocks, trees or signs
* Snorkeling inside tidal pools of Baia dos Porcos
* Set foot or snorkel in tidal pools of Buraco da Raquel and Ponta das Caracas
* To walk over reef formations of Atalaia, Leao or Sueste beaches
* Entering Sueste's Mangrove - which is the ONLY mangrove formation in an Atlantic Ocean Island on the Southern Hemisphere
* Not respect "float limits" of Sueste Bay or Baia dos Golfinhos (Dolphins Bay)
* To wear fins, sneakers, or sun lotion at Atalaia beach
* Scuba dive without being booked through one of the three registered operators of the island
* To swim with Spinner Dolphins

IBAMA is the federal environmental office which regulates and monitors sustainable visitation of the National Marine Park of Fernando de Noronha (PARNAMAR-FN)
